Athletics Day

On Wednesday 13/11/13 the Middles and the Seniors were doing athletics. We were doing it all day competing against the other houses, these are what the houses are called: Heaphy, Cotterel, Spooner and Brunner. Everyone had to go one way, Seniors were going clockwise and the Middles were going anti-clockwise. There were 8 sports that we did: Shotput, Relays, High jump, Vortex, Long jump, Gutter board, 3 legged race & discus.

Year 5 Librarians

On Monday the 11/11/2013 2 year 5's got chosen to be librarian. Here they are: Maddi and Jasper. Mr. Davis chose these people because they work really well. They are going to get trained by 2 year 6 that are already librarians.

Harikiki Designs

In Rm 3 Natsu, Lolita, Tom, Ilaria have been doing a harakiki post.They have been drawing Maori designs on this block.We put the harakiki post on another harakiki post to make it bigger, bigger and bigger. Natsu was the first person to start it off then Lolita was second and Ilaria third and Tom was the last one to finish.

Gymnastics Competition!

Gymnastics Competition

Last Friday the gymnastics competition was on at Nelson Intermediate gymnastics arena.

Jasper in our class said that our school came 1st and 2nd in the competition and the level 2 girls are going for a competition today.

Flat Stanley

Today we have flat Stanley in our class to hang out and to also get some pictures with us doing work and stuff.

Flat Stanley has pictures on the couch and on the desk next to the computer watching us doing the blog.

The two Stanley's are made by Room 9 our buddy class.

Kitten!

On Friday the 25th of October Dominique's cute little kitten called Shy came in to show to the class. Shy was a 7 week old non- pedigree long hair cat, she was so cute and everyone said she meowed at anything. Dominique is not going to have the cat and she is going to give it to someone with a good home.

New Flick It On!

A new flick it on is happening we have a few groups doing separate movie and we had to include a Rubik's cube, a magic trick and the time 3:15 it is quite hard to put that stuff in a one minute movie but it is a challenge and we accept it!

The groups are Butter masters, Awesomeness reborn, S.A.D. and the Unknown.
