Towel Animals

Today Mr Davis showed us towel animals which our class mate Quaid made. They look incredible! There were little bunnys, elephants, birds, scorpions, stingrays and many other animals, and all of them had sunglasses on, (nice touch). And he even has a book about it that shows you how to make them.

Maori Carvings

Yesterday we rolled paint onto our Styrofoam blocks that we carved our Maori pictures on. We got to pick 3 colours out of Black, Yellow, Purple, Green, Brown, Red and Blue. We had to do two for each of the three colours we picked. So technically we did six paintings . . . technically.

All Blacks VS England

On the 16th of November the All Blacks played England at Twickenham Stadium, London, England. And a great day for Dan carter because it was his 100th game, he had specially made boots which Dan carter said was his 100th.

All blacks  won 30-22 over England  pulsating clash, with Julian Savea scoring a margin of tries for his team. England were in trouble when it was 3-17 to the all blacks after just a quarter of the match but they fought their way back 16-20 to the all blacks by the interval. It was a rip-roaring affair however, and a stern test of the world's best side, who will end 2013 unbeaten if they can overcome Ireland next week. Taking the shield from the English.

Doctor Who 50th Anniversary

The Doctor Who 50th anniversary
Armed with only his intelligence, charm and trusty sonic screwdriver, he has pitted himself against the deadliest creatures in the universe.

He travels in his extraordinary ship - the TARDIS - a time machine that is bigger on the inside than the outside. He chooses travelling companions from those he befriends, briefly sharing his life with them and showing them the astonishing wonders of the universe. Some of the enemies are the Zygons

An amphibious humanoid race, the Zygons are notable for their ability to metamorphose into other living forms, as well as their use of organic technology. Centuries ago, a spaceship full of Zygons crash-landed in Scotland. Unable to return to their native planet, which had been destroyed in a solar explosion, they planned to make Earth their new home. Using their shape-shifting powers and a sea monster called the Skarasen, their plans were foiled when their leader Broton who was shot by UNIT. The Skarasen returned to live peacefully in Loch Ness. As an anniversary present, the Eleventh Doctor took Amy and Rory to the Savoy Hotel on 26 June 1890. Unfortunately, half the staff turned out to be Zygons in disguise.

Dalek

The Doctor first encountered the Daleks on the radiation-soaked planet of Skaro, waging war with the peaceful Thals. The Daleks were the mangled and mutated remains of the Kaled people, placed in metal war machines by the Kaled’s chief scientist Davros. Pursuing the Doctor across space and time, the Daleks invaded the Earth, developed the Reality Bomb and tried to imprison the Doctor in the Pandorica. They fought the Time Lords in The Last Great Time War – a conflict so powerful and destructive that the universe was said to convulse. In an effort to save reality, the Doctor used ‘the Moment’ to annihilate both races. But that wasn’t the end of the Daleks...
And you can't forget the Doctor:
The time lord from Gallifrey.
These real names of the Doctors: William Hartnell the 1st Doctor, Patrick Troughton the 2nd Doctor,
Jon Pertwee the 3rd Doctor, Tom Baker the 4th Doctor, Peter Davidson the 5th Doctor, Colin Baker the 6th Doctor, Sylvester Mccoy the 7th Doctor, Paul Mcgan the 8th Doctor, Christopher Eccleston the 9th Doctor,
David Tennant the 10th Doctor and Matt Smith the 11th Doctor.

Travelling with his companions in the T.A.R.D.I.S throughout time and space solving mysteries and defeating monster, using his sonic screwdriver where ever they go.

So me and my friends can't wait for the Doctor Who 50th Anniversary.
